About Us
Pastor Hilbert L. Gibbs graduated from Universal Life Church (ULC) in August 2022 and became an ordained minister before answering God’s call to serve as a pastor. Together with his beautiful wife, Johona, he leads Helping Hand Ministry Church with a heart dedicated to serving God and helping others.
At Helping Hand Ministry Church, we believe that ministry is not just for Sundays. It is a daily commitment to sharing God’s love, compassion, and blessings with everyone.
We provide assistance with food, shelter resources, job resumes, counseling, prayer, wedding ceremonies, spiritual guidance, and community activities for individuals and families. We are committed to helping people from all walks of life, regardless of their situation, background, beliefs, or circumstances.
Our doors and hearts are open to everyone. We believe that every person deserves love, respect, encouragement, and the opportunity to experience God’s grace. Through faith and service, we strive to make a positive difference in our community every day.
Helping Hand Ministry Church is more than a church. It is a family where everyone is welcome, valued, and loved.
“We do God’s blessings on a daily basis not for Sunday but every day.”
